INSTALLATION FOR THE GODREJ EVENT: CONSCIOUS COLLECTIVE
I was part of the team for the on ground execution of the installation; participating in activities of management and interacting with the people on the day of the exhibition to walk them through the installation.
Mithi, an urban river that spans the north-south axis of Mumbai carries with it the remnants of what the city has come to be. Its flow, character and form that has changed over time is a stark reminder for us to think and be more conscious of the spaces we collectively inhabit and share.
EXECUTING THE CONCEPT:
Compiling materials and carrying out material checks
Managing and overseeing the beginning of the project
Working on the detailing to ensure quality
Laying down the groundwork for the installation
Figuring out and executing detailing
Overcoming last-minute difficulties, managing the workforce efficiently to deliver a quality project on time.
Conducting walkthroughs of the installations and engaging in personal insightful conversations
An efficient teamwork, delivering a successful, well-received and insightful project that complimented the tone of the Godrej's Consciousness Collective, initiating important conversations surrounding the installation.
